The Leopard 2 A6 is equipped with multi-view armor, a 120 mm smooth barrel cannon with caliber 55 and a water-cooled 47,600 cm³ MB873-Ka501 4-stroke engine with 1,500 hp. Despite the heavy combat weight of 60 tons, this enormous performance enables the Leopard 2 A6 to reach a top speed of 72 km / h forwards and 31 km / h backwards.
