The standing model is a replica of the British battleship Prince of Wales, which took part in a number of important events at the beginning of World War II, such as the hunt for the German battleship Bismarck. The British battleship was later one of the first large ships to be sunk by the Air Force using bombers. The TAMIYA model kit version impresses with its accuracy of fit and attention to detail.
