The floor model is a recreation of the A6M3 Zero Fighter T32 Hamp. Much has been written about the Japanese Zero Fighter Aircraft series over the years. Much was based on hearsay and legend and little on fact. Even the allied forces and governments at first refused to acknowledge their existence and when they received a copy of it they could hardly believe the feat they performed. The Type 32 Zero had the most radical change in the entire series and was easily identifiable by its squared wingtips. This reduced the overall span to exactly 11 meters and eliminated the cumbersome folding tips that took time to get the aircraft into carrier elevators during combat. The larger Sakae 21 engine gave the Type 32 a better rate of climb and the shorter wingspan reduced flight forces and increased rotational ability.
