The standing model is a replica of the Messerschmitt Bf109 aircraft from the G-6 series, which at the time was the most popular variant with a quantity of around 13,000. This aircraft was used on both the Western and Eastern Fronts and mainly dominated the Soviet opponents as it was in service until the end of World War II. The G-6 variant of the aircraft was equipped with two 13 mm MG131s, which were built into a prominent bulge in the cockpit; this bulge was called the "bulge".
