The standing model is a replica of the Vought F4U-1D Corsair fighter aircraft. The first production version of the Corsair was the F4U-1. This had an inverted gull wing. Because of the wing, the Corsiar often had problems approaching it. In addition, there was poor visibility because the aircraft's nose was very long. The F4U-1D was launched with a clear view roof. He also had the ability to carry 5-inch missiles under each wing. In 1945 the F4U-1D was used for the first time in the attack against Japan.
