Super fine spray primer - the first step to the perfect finish. High opacity and adhesion without closing the model details. The primer compensates for light scratches and bumps. This is available in different container sizes (100ml/180ml) and colors.

The primers are suitable for the following surfaces/materials: plastic (ABS, polystyrene (PS)), metal (steel, aluminium, die-cast (zinc die-casting)), wood, ceramics.

The primed surface can also be sanded down or sanded wet before the paint is applied. For this we recommend the TAMIYA sandpaper and sanding sponges, these can be used dry and wet and are available in grain sizes from 320 to 3,200.

TIP:

- Basic information on the selection of primers: White primers are ideal for light-colored paint finishes/paint applications and light gray or gray primers for dark paint finishes/paint applications.

- When painting red tones (e.g. TS-8 Italian Red), prepare the model with the primer "Pink" (300087146), this makes the subsequent red tone on the model shine more powerfully and with more depth effect.

- If you want to age the model, weather it or show signs of wear, we recommend using the Oxidrot primer (300087160). If you scratch and/or scratch the paint that was applied later, the effect of rusting or pieces of paint that have fallen off will appear.
